With over 16 years of experience, Sergii is an accomplished executive in the EECA region, managing HIV/AIDS, TB, and PWID programs. As Executive Director of the ‘Health Advocacy Coalition’, he leads initiatives to reduce barriers to health services and combat criminalization and stigma. His work focuses on public health policy, community-led monitoring, and NGO management, emphasizing sustainable health services and human rights for vulnerable groups, including displaced individuals and migrants.
Being Co-founder and Board Member of Health Advocacy Coalition, Denis is also a Regional Coordinator of The International Treatment Preparedness Coalition (ITPC EECA) and a Member of Civil Society Engagement Mechanism for UHC2030 (CSEM).
Evgeniia is a seasoned professional with over 8 years in public health and HIV/AIDS prevention, focusing on funding transitions in the EECA region. In HAC she expertly manages program development, execution, and oversight, ensuring alignment with strategic goals. Her leadership extends to team management, stakeholder engagement, and pioneering advocacy efforts in community mobilization as well as healthcare reform.
Having extensive experience in non-profit management and public health initiatives, Eter has been significantly involved in HAC projects since 2022. Her broad expertise includes project accounting, financial planning, and ensuring compliance with donor-funded programs.
Has more than 10 years of expertise in office administration and 7 years in managing documentation for NGOs focused on HIV/AIDS prevention and public health. Excels in supporting day-to-day operations and enhancing organizational efficiency, with a strong emphasis on compliance and detailed reporting in the non-profit sector.
Anton is globally known activist of the community of people who use drugs and OST patients, people living with HIV and lived experience with HCV. Since 2010 started his work in HIV and TB-service, Harm Reduction and advocacy field in local and national NGOs in Ukraine. Since 2013 worked for international Alliance for Public Health, coordinating international and national projects of HIV, TB, viral hepatitis prevention and treatment among key populations as well as advising on Communities, Rights and Gender issues. Author of different articles, guidelines and publications for communities and professionals. Founder of PUD.UA. Board member of INPUD and EKHN. Member of the Communities Delegation of the Global Fund Board and CCM of Ukraine. Master’s degree in international economy.
Alexandra is a prominent HIV activist and co-founder of Front-AIDS (Russia’s first treatment advocacy group) and Svecha (a community organization for HIV-positive individuals). Now a Manager at GNP+, she has over 20 years of experience in HIV advocacy, focusing on stigma, discrimination, criminalization, and combining HIV with humanitarian responses, especially during the Russian invasion of Ukraine. She represents PLHIV community on global platforms like UNAIDS and the Global Fund.
Educated in social sciences with a master’s in International Relations and European Asian studies, Yuri is actively involved in LGBTQI human rights defense. His experience spans grassroots activism at “Gender Z” in Zaporizhzhya (Ukraine), project management at “Gay Alliance Ukraine”, and coordination of human rights initiatives in Estonia for ECOM. Additionally, Yuri’s role includes combatting discrimination and strengthening legal frameworks for HIV services across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Currently enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Public Administration, he focuses on sustainable development for NGOs. His responsibilities also extend to ILGA World, emphasizing global advocacy.
A social researcher and public health professional, educated with a Master of Public Health from Lund University (Sweden) has been engaged since 2006 in various public health organizations across Eastern Europe and Central Asia. Expertise has been provided in the wellbeing of key and vulnerable populations, focusing on HIV, TB, and migration. A postdoctoral researcher at the Cermes3 laboratory of Paris Cité University, a project supported by ANRS “Ukrainian refugees in receiving countries: barriers, coping strategies and community engagement to enable effective access to HIV and TB care” is currently being implemented. Additionally, responsibilities as an Academic Relations Coordinator at the Regional Expert Group on Migration and Health are held.
